Aspects of the Crucible: Tail is an incantation spell in Elden Ring. It is an Erdtree incantation.
Description[]
Acquisition[]
Aspects of the Crucible: Tail is acquired by defeating the Crucible Knight trapped in the Stormhill Evergaol, located in Stormhill.
Effect[]
Creates a tail that swings in front of the caster with Standard Attack Power equal to 202% of Incantation Scaling.
If charged, it adds a second, larger swing, dealing Standard Attack Power equal to 274% of Incantation Scaling.
Notes[]
- Costs 42 points of Stamina to cast, whether charged or uncharged.
- Attack Power is boosted by wearing pieces of the Crucible Set (4% per piece, 17% for the whole set because 1.04^4 = 1.17).
- Attack Power is boosted by 15% by the Godfrey Icon if charged.
- Since charging the spell already increases Attack Power by 36%, wearing this talisman increases Attack Power by a total of 56%.
- The first swing deals 13 Stance damage, and the second swing deals 39 Stance damage.
- This means that the charged version of the spell can deal up to 52 Stance damage, greater than even a hammer-type Colossal Weapon's charged heavy attack, allowing it to break the stance of many enemies within two hits.
- The spell goes through obstacles, making it decent for ambushing foes by using thin walls as cover.
- It is a bit slow to cast and has about a second of recovery time after the spell finishes casting.
- Launches smaller foes backward if it hits them.
