A conspectus is a field of study within the Academy of Raya Lucaria. Scholars who show particular promise in sorcerery are permitted to don a stone glintstone crown and study a particular conspectus.[1] Thus, each conspectus is associated with its own glintstone crown, as well as its own set of glintstone sorceries.
Karolos Conspectus

The oldest and most venerable of the Academy's conspectuses,[2] the Karolos Conspectus was founded by Azur, the primeval sorcerer, and aspires to follow in his footsteps by pursuing the mysteries of comets.[3] Scholars who study the Karolos Conspectus don Karolos Glintstone Crowns and utilise comet-based sorceries.

Olivinus Conspectus

A conspectus begat by the primeval sorcerer Lusat, with a focus on the study of meteors.[4] Sorcerers from Sellia, Town of Sorcery are known to travel to the Academy of Raya Lucaria to study the Olivinus Conspectus.[5] Those who follow this conspectus wear Olivinus Glintstone Crowns and wield sorceries that launch magic shooting stars at their targets.

Twinsage Conspectus

A speical, higher conspectus comprised of the Academy's truly elite scholars.[6][7] Those who study the Twinsage Conspectus wear Twinsage Glintstone Crowns, depicting dual heads, and are permitted to study sorceries from all other conspectuses.[6]

Lazuli Conspectus[]
A heterodox conspectus that views the moon as equal to the stars.[8] Scholars of the Lazuli Conspectus study Carian sorceries,[9] and fight using wooden Lazuli Glintstone Swords inlaid with glintstone. They don Lazuli Glintstone Crowns and wear pale Lazuli Robes in the hue of the full moon, signifying their heresy.[9] By their presence at Caria Manor, fighting alongside Carian forces, it seems at least some of these sorcerers chose to defend the Carians when the Academy rebelled against them.

Haima Conspectus []
The conspectus of Haima, the adjudicator of the Academy.[10] Scholars of the Haima Conspectus, known as battlemages,[11] seek to quell conflict through the use of their sorceries of cannon fire and gavel,[12] as well as through the use of their Stone Clubs made from hard glintstone, which allow them to feel the impact of their blows.[13] During times of war, when the Academy seals its gates, only Haima's scholars dare to venture outside.[14] Scholars of the Haima Conspectus wear Haima Glintstone Crowns.

Hierodas Conspectus[]
The Hierodas Glintstone Crown was granted to scholars who engaged in nomadic study away from the Academy.[15] A notable follower of this conspectus is Errant Sorcerer Wilhelm, a silent seeker of sorcery who made contact with the primeval current, and was led by guidance into conflict with his friend Vargram the Raging Wolf.[16] Scholars of the Hierodas Conspectus typically wield Night Sorceries, using the Staff of Loss as a catalyst.
