Long ago, great lords served the scarlet rot. Perhaps such fungal bodies served as their crowns. |

The Abandoned Cave is a Location and Sites of Grace in Elden Ring.
Overview[]
A cave set into the cliffs of central Caelid, situated above the ravine containing the Deep Siofra Well. It lies south of Greyoll's Dragonbarrow, north of the Swamp of Aeonia, and just northwest of the Sellia Evergaol. It is located east of the nearest Site of Grace: Smoldering Wall. The entrance is reached by crossing a tree root spanning the canyon from the west, beyond an Abductor Virgin.
Within, Abandoned Cave opens into a rot-blighted swamp where aged Servants of Rot cultivate Miranda Flowers. Geysers of Scarlet Rot erupt intermittently from the ground. Several broken Abductor Virgins lie scattered throughout. In the innermost chamber lurk two Cleanrot Knights—remnants of Malenia, Blade of Miquella's forces who opposed the Redmanes in the Battle of Aeonia during the Shattering.
Sites of Grace[]
The Abandoned Cave Site of Grace is found inside the cave, just beyond the entrance. It is the only grace at this location.
